Burnt Fragment

I put a biscuit in the toaster oven to heat it up and there was a stray bit of biscuit hanging off the edge. That bit absorbed more heat than the rest of the warming biscuit and nearly burned. Before I was done toasting, I pick off that little piece and popped it in my mouth. It was so hot that it burned my tongue. I did not expect it to be superheated. I still feel the burn on my tongue the next day.
