Asphalt Habitat

The interstates in southern Illinois are lined with hawks. They sit on trees and poles, but they are more likely to be seen sitting on road signs. You could view them as lazy, just waiting for a car to do their killing, or you could view them as opportunistic, with a better and more available selection for lunch.
