DIY with Questionable Results
The now-departed Meatloaf sang two out of three ain't bad, but my latest do-it-yourself projects hit one out of three. So what's less than ain't bad? And to call them projects seems strong. The most significant one was the one that went well. I remove the gate latch on our wooden fence and put on a new one. That one was easy — once I figured out by watching a YouTube video that I could reverse the latch for right side opening gate. The other two were car related.
I was unable to attach replacement windshield wipers to my car and I had to go back to the auto parts store for them to install the blades. The video was no help. Small failure, but easy remedy. It's the other one that is bad.
After months of struggling to get our camper registered, we finally did and got a license plate. I bought what seemed to be appropriate hardware to secure the plate to the bracket. When we came home after our first drive with the trailer, there was no licence. We re-drove our route in the hopes of seeing it. We didn't. Now we have to go back to DMV and get a replacement plate. And I will purchase different hardware to attach it. Maybe a video can show me how.
