Fake Survey

I received a paper survey in the mail from an organization that supports and promotes trees. This is a national organization that checks all of the boxes on a charity review site. But this survey is a thin-disguised request for donations.

How do I know? In reverse egregious order:

Promotes receiving FREE gifts (10 free trees, tree book and a complimentary membership)

To receive my free gifts I must make a donation. How are they free with a donation?

Example questions on the survey: Have you ever climbed a tree? Do you ever relax in the shade of a tree?
