Not Even Faint Praise
One of my favorite hot cereals from my childhood is Cream of Wheat. I have fond memories of my grandmother making it for me, how she served it and how I ate it. Only take spoonfuls from the edge of the bowl where the air has a chance to cool it. Because it has a particular taste from childhood, I eat it with too much sugar. It is barely healthy at all, even with wheat in the name. I called it the white bread of hot cereal because the good-for-you parts of the wheat are removed.
