I remember when I started driving that I used to go to convenience stores to get drinks and snacks. These were not gas stations. They were just convenience stores. A Super Big Gulp after soccer practice. A pack of little chocolate donuts on the way home from school. Since almost every gas station has its own convenience store, the free standing convenience stores have mostly gone away.
