An internal sales rep reached out to me asking about one of my connections. I replied that I wasn’t really sure about his current role, but the bigger issue was that I am connected to him because I dated his sister. We broke up three and a half years ago and have not remained in touch. I would not be comfortable reaching out to him. The sales rep understood.
