My dog recognizes patterns of behavior but I wonder what framework he hangs those patterns on. On our walks he knows which way to go. On middle of the day walks he crosses the street and knows we go left. On late afternoon walks we walk to the end of our street and he turns right. No pause. Just a right turn.
Does he know how to tell time and that's how he knows which way to turn? Or does he know how to count and he goes this way on walk 2 of the day and that way on walk number 3?
