Sometimes licensed brand deals make sense. Often they don't. There's a display area in Walmart where these frequently appear and I walk away shaking my head. After taking a picture of course.
The latest find was an eye shadow palette of colors inspired by (and maybe licensed by) Girl Scout and their thin mint cookies. While the cookies are one shade of chocolate brown, and two at a stretch, the eye shadow comes in eight different browns, sparkly green and silver.
It is hard to imagine someone getting excited by decorating their eyes in the style of thin mints. And once they do it, do they tell people of the inspiration.
