The best part about picking an ethnic restaurant for my birthday dinner – in this case Ethiopian – is that even if someone went against my wishes and let them know it is my birthday – which she never would do – there is no chance that the wait staff would gather around our table and sing a traditional Ethiopian birthday song to me.
