My Amazon Echo sits on my desk, and apparently listens to all of my phone calls, sending the audio to an Amazon cloud server somewhere. I don’t usually mute it, because I don’t usually trigger it by saying Alexa. But sometimes a word sounds enough like Alexa that it tries to process what comes next. After it was triggered, I said Walmart. Alexa’s response was I’m sorry. I don’t know that word.
