There is a road in Connecticut called Poverty Hollow Road. I can imagine a historical moment where a group of planners decided that the particular road should just use the name of the area where the poor people lived. Surprising that its name has not been changed. Especially since a recent house sold for $650,000 and there's even one listed at $1.8 million.
