I knew that when we moved to Chattanooga that we were moving to the western end of the Eastern Time Zone. That means we get about a half hour more sunlight in the evenings than we did in North Carolina. Most of Tennessee is in the Central Time Zone. What I didn't realize is that our county line is the time zone line. So we live in the westernmost county in the Eastern Time Zone.
