I signed a contract – clearly created from a boilerplate template – with a carpenter doing some repairs at my house and the contract includes the following section titled Gender:
Words in the singular mean and include plural and vice versa. Words in the masculine mean and include the feminine and vice versa.
Just to clarify things further, the preceding section is called Titles/Headings and it says:
Headings are inserted for the convenience of the Parties only and not to be considered when interpreting this Agreement.
