I don't know and neither do they. The doors and trim of the Cycladic white buildings are not painted a consistent blue. It is all over the place. And this is just on one island.
Traditionally the paint was made from ingredients at home, so they didn't match before. And even if they matched, the darker blue would fade in the sun.
